“The idea for POOR was to make a grindcore band along the lines of earlier NASUM, but somehow it has morphed into whatever comes out of us. It sounds a lot like a cross between our old bands DECRYPT and STUMP. Very short songs that are done before they even started. There is no hidden meaning behind any of it. Just fast for the sake of being fast. Neil enlisted Brad Vanderzee (Dirty Dead, Moistened Desciples, Pink Machines, ex-Decrypt) for session drums, and a few friends from his various other bands on vocals. After a 5 year hiatus, POOR is back. We have enlisted Art Hayes from FATALIST on Bass and Dylan Kuhn from Burning at the Stake on Vocals.”
